It is obvious that we teach martial arts to all those who want to dedicate them to it.
For people who stay with us long enough we have special instructor and black belt courses. If you already have experience in hapkido or hankido we can train you to become a sangmukwan instructor. Sometimes people with previous experience in other martial arts can follow this course as well. This course is for long time students or for students who visit our school in Korea frequently. The black belt course is mostly aimed at expats living in Korea who train with us on a daily basis in Korea.

Daily life
We are housed in a modern dojang in South-Korea's capital; Seoul.
At the cost of about $500 a week, you can stay with us from two weeks up until more than a year (price will decrease if you stay longer than one month). This will cover all your daily expenses, housing, food and of course training hours. There is also the opportunity to become a internationally certified instructor.
We often get questions from people who want to stay just a week or even shorter. We believe it is impossible to learn substantially in such a short amount of time. It would be a waste of your and our time.
We teach the three HKD's, Hapkido, Hankido and Hankumdo as well as Yang and Chen-style Taegeukkwon (Taichi).

Prices
Here are the prices for staying at sangmookwan or just learning at sangmookwan.

These are the prices for staying at sangmookwan fulltime, training, eating and sleeping.

2 weeks= $ 1000
4 weeks= $ 1800
6 weeks= $ 2500
8 weeks = $ 3000

These are the prices for just practicing (no sleep, no food)

1 week 3 times = $ 100 (per 1 month)
Three training sessions in a whole week.
1 week, 5 full days = $ 200 (per 1 month)
5 days of practice, with 3 practice sessions per day.

If you plan on just to practice you would have to find a motel or hotel.
In Korea these will cost you about $50 per day. When you stay a whole week or month they can probably give you a discount.
These motels don't have a kitchen, but when you can eat Korean food you would need a budget of around $30 a day for breakfast, lunch and diner.
$30 would be the absolute minimum though. You would probably need more.
